The Waterford was convenient, budget friendly for our non-profit status, clean, quiet, spacious and we were the only client there! I hope we can return in the near future.

Special kudos to Faviola, the captain of the day for our event. She was excellent to work with and I appreciate her assistance and constant smile.  The in-house AV company, run by Ram Kharel, was a pleasure to work with as well. He provided excellent service and on-the-spot assistance."

"First, our compliments to the Chef.  Everyone raved about the quality of the meals served at our reception - great cuts of steak (the trout was wonderful too), fresh, crisp vegetables, and ample portions of everything.  A great job by the entire kitchen staff.

Jose and Fabiola also did a wonderful job of making sure the rooms were prepared on schedule, that everything (favors, centerpieces, cake, guest book) was placed as we requested and shifted as required to support the flow of the evening.  They were responsive when we requested changes and showed appropriate initiative to keep things on track when necessary.  Both were a pleasure to work with.

Lastly, we appreciate the attention to detail and thorough planning put forth by Saul and Louis to make our event a success.  They both answered all of our questions, had solid recommendations, borrowed wonderfully from their extensive experience and were good natured in their dealings with us.  They made us feel that our reception was the most special event on the schedule and led the staff that made all of our family and other guests feel special too.

"I wanted to take this opportunity to thank you and your staff for an absolutely spectacular wedding on Saturday, October 10th for Carrie and Brian.  From the time we started planning the event until we left Waterford on Saturday, you made it exceptionally easy on the bride, the groom and myself (the mother of the bride).

The Banquet Manager, Gavi, was so organized and did a wonderful job at making sure that everything was ready on time and the tables and the rooms were just beautifully decorated.  I did not have to worry about anything at all except getting the bride ready to walk down the aisle.  The Banquet Captain, Mr. Rivera, was also very organized and kept things on an even keel during the reception.  He made sure that our guests were well taken care of.  The food was absolutely delicious and our guests commented on it and the exceptional service of the attendants.

Everyone had a great time and the newlyweds and I will certainly recommend Waterford to family and friends.  Thank you again for a wonderful evening that we will never forget."

"The office personnel who helped us set up our event were very helpful explaining our options and determining a room size to accomodate the guests for our event. The event staff working the night of our event were OUTSTANDING and performed each request with a smile and helped make the event a memorable experience for all who attended.  The food was delicious and ALL the guests at our event stated the same.  The arrangement of food stations was easy to access and provided more than ample space to socialize.  We have only the HIGHEST compliments for our experience with the Waterford and would VERY HIGHLY RECOMMEND WITHOUT RESERVATION to any of our friends looking for a location for a social event such as ours."

"Inaugural Ball" 1/20/09

"I cannot believe a whole month and a half has passed since we had the Inaugural Ball.  I apologize for not getting back to you before now to let you know what a great time we had.  Everyone indicated that they really had a nice time.  First of all, they loved th place!  We could barely pry our guests away from the waterfall where most of them took pictures.  Then they raved about the food from the hors' doeuvres to the main course.   The room choice and set up was also very good.  We loved Gabby, the Manager, who was very helpful.  We also really loved Fabiola, the Captain.  She and her staff did an exceptional job.  Please check with her to see if she received the letter that we sent
her.

We thank you Saul for the time you spent talking with us on the phone or in your office.  Without your help planning the event, we know it would not have been as successful.  Thank you for making last minute accommodations regarding the room.

Overall, everything was Excellent! Excellent! Excellent!

"We could not be more pleased with our experience at the Waterford. Our planners were professional and reachable, which made planning our wedding reception an enjoyable, not stressful, event. The venue was beautiful; the staff was friendly and organized; the food was excellent.

    In particular, I'd like to thank Fabiola and the staff on duty on the day of our wedding. They provided exceptional service; we did not have to worry about anything. They were attentive to our needs throughout the day and readily available to answer questions or requests. They were organized, well trained, and personable, allowing my husband and I to focus on enjoying our guests and the evening, rather than worry about details. Their professionalism and experience enabled our wedding reception of 250 guests to proceed smoothly from the cocktail hour, to the buffet dinner, to an evening of celebrating.

"Unfortunately, a few minutes into the cocktail hour, a full glass of red wine was accidentally spilled onto my white silk coat-dress - covering most of the front and side panel.  A waitress in the room immediately came to me handing me napkins.  I went to the restroom and while I was attempting to try to keep the stain from setting, several waitresses and Gavi, the banquet manager, came to my assistance.

Gavi patiently worked on the garment for some time and returned it to me during dinner.  Although the stain was still there, it was somewhat faded.  I sincerely appreciated all her asssistance; she refused my offer as money as a thank you for her work on my behalf.  Gavi performed her duties in a caring and professional manner.  Waterford is very fortunate to have a person of her capability, demeanor and efficiency as a member of your staff.

Also, I want to take this opportunity to thank Colleen , my sales contact, for her assistance and kindness.

"I was entirely impressed with the quality of service and professionalism of the Waterford Receptions staff.  From the day I called to schedule my event (more than a year before May 24, 2008), I was met with nothing by exceptional representation of this organization. As an event planner myself, I was thoroughly satisfied with the care, dedication and responsiveness of Catherine Gogan, Catering Sales Manager. She responded to each and every one of my questions quickly and thoroughly, often putting me need to control every detail at ease (a hazard of the trade!) 

    On the day of the event, I was convinced that all activities and preparations would be flawlessly executed.  I was not disappointed!  My husband and I were greeted by Denise and Colleen McGabe and quickly informed of the sequence of events for the day.  Then we met Lois Betoko, Banquet Manager, and Faviola, Banquet Captain, and I knew the day would without incident.  Despite knowing there were at least two other events being held at the same time, I felt like the Worthy Anniversary Party was the ONLY event at the Waterford in Springfield that day!  Not just my husband and I, but all our guests were threated with care and professionalism.  The food quality and event service we received that day rivaled any four star hotel/restaurant.  At the end of the evening, Faviola even packaged up our cake and presents and accompanied us to our car to put them away! 

    On behalf of my husband, and all our family and friends, I send a sincere note of appreciation to all the staff at the Waterford.  I will highly recommend the Waterford at Springfield to family and clients for their special event.  And you can rest assured that we will see you again!"
